Trip to Queenscliffe

In Term 2, on a nice cool May morning, we boarded “Daisy’s” carriages at Drysdale train station.

Upon arriving at Queenscliffe, we then took a short walk to have a picnic and play in the park.

Before re-boarding the train back to Drysdale, we were treated to meeting some famous engines who were resting in their sheds, Skarloey and Thomas the Tank Engine himself!!!

The train trip home was very noisy with excitement, certainly a fun day had by all.

Thanks for a great day everyone! Both my kids had such a great time and slept very well that night :-) The real highlight was meeting Skarloey and Thomas – Jake was SO excited. I’m looking foward to our next excursion…
