Aim of the Montessori Class
Since Montessori is learning to balance responsibility with freedom of choice, it offers the children an opportunity to achieve their potential in a non-competitive environment.
As such, the aim is to provide:
- Self confidence and self-esteem;
- A sense of self worth and achievement;
- A sense of responsibility for themselves and their actions;
- Independence and adaptability;
- Co-operation and understanding in sharing a sense of Community;
- Respect for each other and to understand each other’s needs;
- Concentration and persistence to complete the cycle of activity;
